Exciting news for Nando's fans... there's a new spice on the PERi-ometer, and it sounds lip-smackingly tasty.
Yep, the chicken chain has just announced the arrival of a new summer flavour combo: Coconut & Lemon.
Sitting alongside Medium on the PERi-ometer, the spice isn't for the feint hearted, but it's also manageable on the spice scale, for those who prefer to steer clear of a super fiery order.
Landing in stores today, the new spice promises to add a seasonal PERi-PERi kick to your meal, offering a hit of creamy tropical coconut and a zesty citrus kick.

If you want to try it, there's no time to waste, as the new spice is only limited edition, replacing the Passion Fruit & Mango combo in all UK restaurants for eat-in, delivery and click & collect.
Nando's has teased that there are still plenty more seasonal flavourings in the pipelines, but they're keeping future launches close to their chests.
So, you'd better get your gobs around this one before it's too late!
You can order the Coconut & Lemon spice at get.nandos.co.uk, or eat-in (if your local branch allows), and receive 50 per cent off (on top of the current VAT discount) on Monday to Wednesday.
That means a quarter PERi-PERi Chicken will now only cost £1.85, a quarter PERi-PERi Chicken + two Sides will cost £3.38, and a Halloumi sticks and dip starter will only set you back. £1.74. Bargain!

The PERi-PERi news comes as Nando's officially started re-opening restaurants for dine-in from the 8th July.
In order to ensure the experience is safe and Covid friendly, Nando's has put a new system in place so that customers won't have to queue up outside the restaurant.
Instead, you'll need scan a QR code that you'll see when you arrive, and they'll text you when your table is ready.
The chain will also be operating so it is fully cashless, to limit transmission of the virus via money. But, don't worry, you can still collect Chilli Points using your Nando's Card.

As for social distancing? That's also going to be strictly implemented across the branch, both in kitchens and across all the tables.
The chain is also still operating with its limited menu to ensure the kitchen staff can function with reduced teams, to stay safe.
Plus, there will be sanitiser stations across the branches, and staff will come to your table - replacing their standard order at the counter format.
