M&S Is Now Selling A Giant Foot-Long Chocolate Eclair For Christmas

Baking new ground, the food retailer has unveiled their latest festive dessert with their ‘Biggest Ever Éclair’, which has us salivating.

Dessert fiends rejoice as Marks & Spencer are launching a new foot-long chocolate eclair next week (Monday, 30th September).

Baking new ground, the food retailer has unveiled their latest festive dessert with their 'Biggest Ever Éclair', which has us salivating.

The show-stopper, which costs a mere £10, boasts buttery choux pastry which is filled with delicious fresh cream and glazed with mouth-watering chocolate fondant.

The unique foot-long chocolate éclair is apart of M&S new Christmas range and is attracting all sorts of interest with nearly 10 thousand comments on the popular Facebook Page Money Saver Online.

The new release comes as M&S revealed they were releasing a Christmas Colin the Caterpillar cake as part of its festive menu for 2019.

Covered in chocolate presents, snowflakes, holly and candy canes, Colin is looking to to trot for the festive season. He's even wearing a bold red Santa's hat and matching slippers.

Fans will be able to snap up a Christmas Colin for £10 when M&S drop the Christmas range in late October.

Colin comes as part of the supermarket's Xmas food offering which is made up of over 170 new mouth-watering dishes.

New dishes include the 'Perfect Turkey' (which promises to banish turkey terror) and a complete vegan Christmas meal.

There's also a super-sized version of the brand's Brie en Croute (£10) which is sold all year round; the delicious cheesy starter comes with a flaky pastry crust for dipping and loading with gooey cheese.

This year's hot new addition is posh crumpets: Porcini & Truffle Crumpets and Pulled Ham Hock & Rarebit Crumpets (£7), which are ready to go with just seven minutes in the oven.

There's also some delectable new tipples including a Clementine Gin Liqueur Snow Globe (£15), which is sure to be an alcohol shelf centrepiece.

The festive clementine flavoured gin complete with edible 23 carat gold leaf pieces, which create a snow globe effect when the bottle is turned upside down.

The Biggest Eclaire Ever arrives in M&S stores from September 30th while selected M&S Food Christmas lines launch from September 25th across the UK.
