If the lack of pigs in blankets on your Christmas dinner has made you question your decision to lead a vegetarian or vegan diet, then fear not as Morrisons has just launched its own plant-based versions.
The supermarket will now be selling vegan pigs in blankets just in time for Christmas, and they are the perfect meat-free festive treat.
Named 'veggies in blankets', these are made from tomato, potato, mushroom and basil which makes up the sausage part of the conventional pig in blanket.
And the blanket, which would usually be made from a rasher of bacon, has been swapped for a thin slice of tasty aubergine.

Packs hold 10 individual veggies in blankets, and are priced at £2.50 - they are in-stores nationwide already.
Party Food Expert Simon Whittle said: "Pigs in Blankets are arguably the best part of Christmas dinner. We've listened to customers who are looking for more plant-based options over the festive period and created a vegan version."
The freezable snacks are currently part of the supermarket's three for £6 offer on Christmas party food, which includes other veggie and vegan snacks, so it's the perfect time to stock up.

These include a pistachio nut roast as well as a pumpkin and sticky fruit stuffing to accompany your Christmas dinner.
It only seems fitting that supermarkets are upping their vegan game, as there's been a huge increase in those switching to a plant-based diet in recent years - ASDA even created a vegan cheeseboard this festive period.
But if you don't fancy giving these vegan options a whirl, then there are many more meatier options on the market, like Aldi's foot-long ones.

The budget supermarket just launched huge, succulent British pork sausages wrapped in smoky streaky bacon.
Aldi's pigs in blankets, which measure a foot in length, are in stores now at £2.99 and come in packs of two.
