The people have spoken and McDonald's has answered: the chain is bringing back the much-missed Aero and mint Aero McFlurry after four years.

The popular McFlurry flavours were a big hit when they first hit Maccies back in 2015, and fans were only able to enjoy them for a short amount of time.

Now, the McFlurrys are back and will be available in restaurants from Wednesday 1st May. You can pick up a regular size for £1.39 and a mini version for 99p. What a time to be alive.

The delicious pots are filled with vanilla ice cream which is then topped with chunks of Aero, with the mint version having added swirls of minty goodness.

For those interested, a regular Aero McFlurry contains 349 calories and 46g of sugar, meanwhile, a mini contains 175 calories and 23g of sugar.

There's one catch: you'll have to be quick as the flavours are only available for eight short weeks up 25th June... go, go, GO!

And they aren't the only McFlurry flavours to have made a comeback lately. Fan favourites the Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry and Cadbury Caramel McFlurry recently made a reappearance in restaurants across the nation just in time for Easter.

But sadly, you can only get your hands on them until until Tuesday 30th April. McDonald's, why do you continue to tease us?

Fans of the brand will also know that the annual McDonald's Monopoly is currently in full swing, where customers have the chance to win prizes with nearly every single purchase, which of course includes McFlurries too.

Like you needed any more reason to grab an Aero McFlurry on Wednesday...
