When it comes to choosing the best kind of potato, hash browns and good old fashioned fries have got to be up there.

But while we're here chilling in 2019, Iceland is out there in 2029 after releasing its brand new hash brown fries, which I think we can all agree is a real game changer.

The frozen supermarket is delivering all the goods by combining the two delicious potatoey goods.

On Iceland's official website, they're described as: "Formed, shredded and seasoned potato with onion pre-fried in rapeseed oil." Is anyone else's mouth-watering?

The hash brown fries come in 700g bags for just £1.85 - which if you're wondering, works out at just £2.64 per kilo of fries.

Despite only just being released, the hash brown fries are already receiving rave reviews on Iceland's website, with a total score of 4.9 stars out of 5 after 51 glowing reviews.

One satisfied 5 star customer wrote: "These are amazing, I love hash browns. I wasn't sure what to expect but they were so tasty. Done in the oven in 20 mins. You don't need a lot as they are quite filling compared to normal chips."

Another simply added: "All I can say is 'delicious'. No more chips for us!"

The oven baked fries are 250 calories per 100g, but we'd definitely say they're worth it for those nights when you just want to treat yourself with something a little bit naughty.

The real question is... would you serve them with an evening meal, just like you would with regular fries, or would you serve them on a full English breakfast, where you'd traditionally expect to see regular hash browns? Well, there's a simple answer for that - both.

Iceland's hash brown fries are now available to buy online and in stores. You're welcome.
