There's a new viral food trend circulating on Instagram and TikTok - and it's seriously drool-worthy.
Created by food guru Valentina Mussi, aka @sweetportfolio - say hello to Honeycomb Pasta Cake. Packed with rigatoni pasta - which is filled with mozzarella cheese - and layered with bolognese and cheddar, it's all assembled in a cake tin before being cut into slices to serve.
It's probably the cheesiest most mouthwatering pasta dish we've ever seen - and it's so easy to make. We've popped a handy recipe below so you can recreate at home - just don't forget you'll need a cake tin!

Ingredients
- Rigatoni pasta shells
- Butter

- Bolognese sauce (feel free to add mince or quorn mince)
- Mozzarella cheese
- Grated mozzarella and cheddar
Method

1. Preheat the oven to 190C/170C Fan/Gas 5 before greasing your cake tin with butter. In the meantime, boil your pasta.
2. Fill the cake tin with the rigatoni pasta, stood upwards and packed together until the tin is filled.
3. Add a chunk of mozzarella to the inside of each rigatoni shell before adding the bolognese sauce on top.
4. Sprinkle on a generous layer of grated cheese and bake in the oven for around 15-20 minutes.
