Electricity and water, dogs and cats, Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham: some things are best kept separate. But a pop-up in London this month has thrown caution to the wind and is offering crazy cravers a blend of Cadbury's Creme Egg and Heinz Mayonnaise.

It's the combo you didn't realise you didn't want to happen.

While many of us thought the concoction was a April Fool's spoof, it turns out two of the nation's most-loved brands have really joined forces to create a thankfully unique Heinz [Seriously] Good Creme Egg Mayo.

Heinz' famous mayonnaise, made with all the usual quality ingredients and free-range eggs, is mixed with the gorgeous goo of a Cadbury's Creme Egg and crème pâtissière, before being finished with chunky pieces of delectable chocolate from Cadbury's Creme Egg shells.

The questionable treat will be available to sample from a free pop-up installation event at Ely's Yard, Truman Brewery in London from 11th-13th April (11am-8pm on Thursday and Friday and 11am-4pm on Saturday). But only very limited stocks exist.

The hybrid won't be available in shops.

Raphael Capitani, brand manager of Cadbury Creme Egg said: "We're so excited to announce that our Heinz [Seriously] Good Cadbury Creme Egg Mayo collaboration is actually happening, and can't wait for people to try it for themselves.

"We're looking forward to seeing Creme Egg and Heinz fans head down to the installation to taste this deliciously gooey spread."

Despite being announced on April Fool's day, unlike last year's Heinz Chocolate Mayonnaise story, we've been assured this time it isn't a joke.

This year, Heinz wanted to let consumers have the chance to try their idea, with the team spending many months working to get the bonkers recipe just right, and suggesting you spread the new Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise onto waffles or crumpets.

It's the latest Creme Egg surprise rolled out this year, with Cadbury launching an unrelated huge Easter egg hunt back in January.

Do you fancy trying this limited-edition treat?
