Have you ever gone to your fridge knowing you have a bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk to find it gone? Most likely it's happened more than once and you're sick of your treats being taken.

If you've ever fallen foul to a sweet toothed fiend, then maybe you should take a leaf out of this man's book after he left his fiancée furious when he bought a fridge safe.

Facebook user Stephanie Lowe took to the social media platform to share the contraption she found in her fridge, which her soon-to-be husband bought in a bid to stop her eating his chocolate.

Sharing snaps of the clear box filled with Double Deckers and a large Oreo Dairy Milk, she hilariously penned: "So this is what it has come too! You buy a house together, have a child together, get engaged, are planning a wedding and doing your house up and this happens!

"Dave goes and buys a f**kin fridge safe because he's an a*sehole and doesn't want to share his chocolate with me anymore! Anyone want him? Surely this is breakup material, right?! Pr*ck!" [sic]

The rib-tickling social media post has amassed 31,000 shares and over 44,000 comments, which include many saying "need this" while others tagged their partner and warned "don't you dare".

"I'm getting one of these," one penned.

"I'm going to get one of these so you don't eat my snacks in the night."

A third wrote: "Wow never needed anything more".

"Maybe he's just trying to keep the treats away from your kid," questioned one user. "This Dave guy is a God Damn genius! He is going places in life you better not let him get away".

However, others sided with Stephanie's fury and suggested she try crack the code on the box to get to the stash.

A follower penned: "Hahahaha just smash it and then blame him for making you work for your treats!!!".

"3 number combination shouldn't be too hard to crack highest number 999 , may as well start from 001 good luck I hope you pass this test," another shared.

A third said: "What a f**ker I'd break that thing in spite of him. It's like wtf? I had your kid. I deserve all the MF chocolate".

"Hahahaha just smash it and then blame him for making you work for your treats!!!" another suggested.

If you're thinking of getting your own fridge safe, we've found Dave's on Amazon - called the Lockabox One for £29.95.
