With Valentine's Day just around the corner, we've been hoping for a card or a bunch of flowers from our significant other at best.
But after spotting an incredible new alternative, it's safe to say that flowers will no longer suffice.

Introducing the chicken nugget bouquet: it's just as romantic and thoughtful as a normal one, but edible! Win, win.
The dreamy concept has been around for a while, but it has emerged as a growing trend on Instagram over the last few months, and quite frankly, we are here for it.
People are making the gifts by putting the nugs on cocktail sticks and arranging them in the same way you would with a floral bouquet.

Some of the bouquets are made up purely of nuggets while others have flowers mixed in too.
Plus, a few lucky people had fries or chocolates thrown in for good measure too. Their partners sure know to spoil them.
Sharing a tasty creation on Instagram, one bouquet recipient, wrote: "Why do people gift roses? Are roses even edible?"
A second posted her own version, writing: "Find someone who looks at you like how I look at my chicken nugget bouquet."
While a third also shared a delicious looking nugget bouquet her partner had made for her, gushing: "He's the one, yall! Haha, this man sure knows the way to my heart!"

Yep, it's safe to say he's a keeper.
With St Valentine's Day upon us, this mouthwatering new trend is bound to go down a treat with nug fanatics around the country.
But it doesn't have to stop at chicken, either. If your partner is vegetarian, you could replace the meat with Quorn or soya alternatives.

Or if they've got more of a sweet tooth, why not opt for a chocolate bar bouquet instead? Or perhaps a Krispy Kreme bouquet? The options really are endless...
Take note, bae. Flowers are *so* 2019.
