Christmas is well and truly round the corner. Don't believe us? Just look at the amount of festive food launches we've been having over the past few weeks.

Yep, even with three months until the big day, the confectionary leaders have been dropping their festive-themed sweet treats in quick succession - and they're SO good this year.

Adding to the list of snacks to get excited about is Cadbury's newly-released Dairy Milk Chocolate Orange Mousse Snowmen.

The fluffy mousse comes encased in hard orange-flavoured chocolate shaped as a snowman for a scrumptious yuletide treat.

The citrussy twist on the brand's original milk chocolate snowmen is available now in supermarkets nationwide until the end of Christmas. So ample time to stock up for the remainder of 2020.

The bite-sized choc was first spotted in ASDA, where they were being sold for 50p each or three for £1. This is cheaper than they're going on the Cadbury's website, at 65p a pop.

Posted on food Instagram New Foods UK, confectionary fans couldn't contain their excitement about the new zesty drop.

"Omg i'm dying and there in asda have to get some when i get my white choc (sic)," raved one commenter.

"This calls for another trip to asda!," said another.

"Yummm needed! Christmas is coming early!," penned a third.

The snowmen aren't the only Cadbury drop to tout the wonders of chocolate orange in recent months. In August, the brand revealed it is launching a limited edition Orange-Flavoured Twirl.

Available now, the orange-flavoured Twirl is already a thing in Australia and New Zealand, but this month marks the first time it hits UK shores.

Cadbury's aren't the only brand to be jumping on the chocolate orange hype, with Nestle revealing it was launching mint and orange After Eight chocolates in the last week of August.

The limited-edition flavour sees a citrus twist added to the peppermint sweet and features slices of orange on the standard dark green box.

There's also Diet Coke Clementine, an exciting new addition to the flavoured Coke line-up which is available from mid-October.

To add to that, back in July, McVitie brought back its much-loved chocolate orange biscuits, spotted on ASDA shelves for £2 a pack.

See? Orange really is the taste of Christmas. Now excuse us while we go an inhale a Terry's chocolate orange...
