ASDA Releases £1 Cans Of Passion Fruit Martini And Bramble Gin In Time For The Heatwave
As the sunshine finally makes an appearance this summer, the supermarket chain has unveiled its new beverages, which sees the nation's favourite alcoholic drinks in a "grab-and-go" can.
The cans are set to rival M&S with flavours that include, Passion Fruit Martini, thirst-quenching Gin Bramble, flirty Pink Gin as well as a sweet Rhubarb Gin.
Getting our tastebuds' attention, ASDA's Spirits Buyer Lauren Bungay said that the new range aims to "take the fuss out of cocktails" on a busy summer's day.
Announcing the new additions, she said: "With summer jam-packed full of celebrations, we wanted to ensure we have something customers could easily grab-and-go with, no matter the occasion.
"With canned cocktails growing in popularity thanks to their ease, flavour and convenience, our new ready-to-drink range aims to take the fuss out of cocktails, providing the perfect solutions for busy summer days.
Adding: "Whether you're a fan of fruity, or a gin-traditionalist, our new range has something everyone can enjoy.
"At just £1 for single cans, the range is the perfect value option for Brits loking for delicious drinks that don't come with the cocktail lounge price tag."
The new range joins ASDA's recently revamped suite of cocktails in a can, including Daiquiri, G&T, Mojito, Spiced Rum, Vodka, Lime and Lemonade and Woo Woo.
And back in May, the supermarket added two new fruity gins to its shelves as the spirit's popularity continues to rise in the UK.
The new tipple is also perfect for summer as it comes in two delicious, fruity flavours - Spanish Lemons and Spanish Watermelon, and will set you back £23 for a 700ml bottle.
The lemon gin is colourless and comes with a vibrant yellow label, while the watermelon comes in a pretty in pink colour with a matching jazzy pink label.
The UK is set to bask in temperatures of up to 32C this weekend as summer finally makes its long-awaited entrance.
The new additions are available in-store and online now.
