If you're well-versed on drinks trends, you'll know that pink gin is having a major moment. So much so that the flavour is now spilling over into edible items.

ASDA is now selling pink gin and tonic cup cake kits, so you too can enjoy Britain's current fave spirit flavour, while getting in a bit of baking while you do.

The kits, which cost only £1.75, will bake you six delicious cup cakes. But before you roll up your sleeves, just make sure you have butter, and egg and water. Then, you simply follow the instructions (honestly, they are simple) and wait 15-18 minutes until they are golden in the over.

The perfectly pink sponge comes with raspberry gin and tonic flavour frosting mix, and red sugar crunch decorations to sprinkle on top. How good will these look on a plate at your next summer BBQ?

However, if you were hoping to have a boozy baking sesh, be warned the cupcakes don't contain any ACTUAL gin. We have to say we're disappointed. Still, we're sure they taste lovely.

ASDA have jumped on the pink gin band wagon, which celebrates berry-hinted versions of the popular English spirit, and so have tons of other big retailers.

Just weeks ago Marks & Spencer unveiled a limited edition pink gin-flavoured cream ahead of Wimbledon. The extra thick cream is blended with the brand's best-selling Think Pink Gin and is priced at £3.50 for a 200g tub. We've tried it, and it is honestly amazing.

M&S

M&S Dairy Product Developer Rosie While commented: "Our Pink Gin Cream is set to be a game-changer this summer. Our customers love gin in everything so we couldn't resist adding their favourite tipple to our extra-special cream just in time for Wimbledon."

Around the same time, M&S also launched another gin-infused newbie, Ginking Rosé, a combination of a sparkling pink rosé wine and gin, that's £13 a bottle.

Before that, Tesco launched a shimmery rosehip and rhubarb gin for £6 a bottle, cider kingpin's Kopparberg branched out releasing a mixed fruit-flavoured gin.

All hail pink gin!
