ASDA Is Now Selling Blocks Of Vegan Cheese For Two Quid
For those of you who live a life free from dairy, gluten or wheat, then you'll know how much of a struggle it is to get food that's a) cheap and b) tasty.
Luckily, ASDA has sorted us out with a block of vegan cheese for two quid. For those of you taking part in Veganuary, this is pretty much a God-send, right?
If you're particularity interested, the cheese is made out of coconut oil as an alternative to mature Cheddar cheese.
One reviewer wrote: "Amazing price at £2.00. Makes super cheese on toast as it melts really well. Great mature flavour also. Will be buying again!!"
However another didn't seem too impressed, adding: "I applaud ASDA for expanding further into the vegan market, but this product is not their best effort. The taste is unpleasant and the texture unlike the cheese product it is trying to imitate. It is also nothing new, as another supermarket has had this same exact product under their own branding for several months now."
Hmm. Well there's only one way to find out if it's decent or not.
