High up on our list of animals we find cute - maybe even on par with dogs, pandas and penguins - is the lazy, sleep and absolutely adorable sloth. And to capitalise on our love of the lethargic creatures, ASDA has launched a seriously sweet sloth cake.
Available in stores and online for £11, the Sloth Celebration Cake is made with multi-layered Madeira sponge and filled with alternating jam and frosting. It's then covered in a sweet sugar paste with a melt party hat topping off the cute design. Each cake has 16 servings making it perfect for birthday parties.
ASDA's latest invention follows other cute animal-inspired foods such as unicorn smash desserts, an adorable pink llama cake and a shark cake.

ASDA posted news of the new cake on Facebook, quickly receiving thousands of likes and comments.
One fan wrote: "My boyfriend turned 31 on Wednesday and loved his sloth cake! Was delicious" while another commented: "Oh my I hope you still have these in November for my daughter's birthday she loves sloths!"

If you're a sloth enthusiast, we're sure you'll also have got your hands on last year's incredible sloth collection from Primark, which has everything from sloth snow globes to sloth hanging photo clips. However, our favourite item in that collection had to be the sloth pyjamas, which we wear more often than is strictly necessary.
