Aldi Is Selling Gin And Prosecco Ice Lollies And They Sound Delicious
It's safe to say that Aldi is killing it this festive season. With their pretty in pink gins, salted caramel vodka, and sloe-gin infused mince pies, they've seriously stepped it up recently.
But for those Christmas Grinches of you out there who reject the festive season, these alcoholic ice lollies might tickle your fancy instead. So if you opt for plain old vanilla ice-cream and a G&T over Christmas pudding and mulled wine then this one is perfect for you.
These will give you a bit of a buzz at 4-5% (about the same as a pint of beer), and no festive party will be complete without a few of these.
Coming in two flavours, you can tuck into gin & tonic or prosecco & peach - and they're only £2.99 for a pack of four!
If you can't be bothered nipping to your local to get yourself a pack, check out this recipe from the guys at A Dash of Ginger.
Aldi has been pulling out all the stops this Christmas too, and each festive launch just seems to get better and better. The budget supermarket has been selling chocolate wine, and by the sounds of it, it's absolutely delicious.
A description of the product on the winemaker's official website reads: "Rubis is an indulgent blend of fortified tempranillo wine and premium chocolate flavour.
"Notes of rich cherry and red fruit enveloped in velvety premium dark chocolate means Rubis can be enjoyed as an after-dinner treat or on any special occasion.
"It can be served at either room temperature or chilled over ice for that ultimate chocolate experience."
Admittedly, the bottles of chocolate wine have been around for a little while now, but Aldi will be selling it at the bargain price of £9.99, where it usually costs around £13, so it's a winner all-round.
'Tis the season to be tipsy, after all!
