A Halloumi Fries Restaurant Is Opening In Liverpool
There's only one thing better than halloumi cheese, and that's fries made out of the delicious, cheesy goodness.
Halloumi fries are the food of gods, and that is why a whole restaurant in Liverpool is opening dedicated to the tasty savoury treat.
Hafla Hafla, who made a name for itself during the famous Baltic Market, is now opening its own restaurant on Lark Lane in South Liverpool, reports the Echo.
If, for some ridiculous reason, you are not into halloumi fries, there are other options including mezze boxes, lamb shawarma and falafel wraps. Delish.
Just look how yummy it all looks:
There may even be a halloumi shawarma, although this incredible invention is currently only being trialled at festivals this summer. We honestly can't wait to try out the entire menu.
The halloumi fries restaurant won't be open until the Autumn, so maybe in the meantime you can have a go at making your very own cheese.
Yep, you can buy a make your own halloumi kit for £22.99 from Firebox, and each pack contains everything (ingredients and equipment) you need to make eight batches of delicious cheese, which works out at just £2.80 per lot.
All you need to do is add your own milk to all the ingredients, and Bob's your uncle.
Firebox says that the end product is also much better than the 'usual supermarket rubber' and is the perfect way to get into cheese creation as it is super easy.
It's all vegetarian-friendly too, as the rennet in it is actually suitable for veggies.
