The costume comes from the same creators of the 'sexy' Handmaid's Tale-inspired costume.

Yandy - the online retailer behind the 'sexy' Handmaid's Tale-inspired costume - has now created a 'sexy' Meghan Markle-themed Halloween outfit. Yes, really.

While the name of the costume doesn't actually make reference to the Duchess of Sussex herself, there are a few major giveaways.

The outfit has been styled with a Deal or No Deal metal briefcase featuring the last two digits of her wedding year, as well as a suit jacket - obviously a nod to Suits, which was the series that rocketed Meghan into the spotlight. However, these props don't actually come with the dress itself.

And the product description speaks for itself really.

It reads: "You're living an actual fairy tale! Get ready to walk down the royal aisle in this exclusive American Princess costume featuring a white mini dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline, 3/4 length sleeves, a smooth bodice, a tulle veil with a large bow accent, a satin bow detail, and a bejeweled tiara.

"Bouquet, jacket, and case not included."

The mini-dress' silhouette also mirrors the designer gown that Meghan wore on her wedding dress, with an off the shoulder neckline. Yandy's model is wearing a plastic tiara as well as a veil, and is holding a bunch of flowers in her hands.

While the Queen might not necessarily approve of this costume, it retails at $49.95 (£38.10) and comes in a limited small, medium and large sizes.

This Meghan Markle-inspired costume isn't the only Yandy Halloween costume, which is themed around pop culture moments.

Earlier this year, the brand removed the 'Sexy' Handmaid's Tale-Inspired Halloween Outfit after a furious online backlash.

Just to put things into perspective for you, the hulu adaptation of Margaret Atwood's novel is based on the oppression of a group of 'fertile' women who are treated as property of the government, and forced into sexual slavery.
