Now that summer is here and we're still firmly in lockdown (sigh), people are beginning to take their DIY efforts outside.
Back gardens across the country are getting the quarantine treatment, with budding upcycling pros jazzing up just about anything they can in their boredom with insane results.
Already we've seen incredible outdoor bars made from palettes, fairy gardens made from old tyres and seriously pretty garden glamping situs. But the latest DIY idea that's caught our eye involves just an old trampoline.

People are turning their old, unused trampolines into cosy outdoor dens complete with hanging curtains and fairy lights. Why spend money on a Love Island-esque day bed when you have a perfectly good one sitting in your back garden anyway, eh?
First spotted on Facebook group Gardening On A Budget Official, Cari Hooson, 35, shared her outdoor daybed which featured unused sheets used as curtains and pretty pink bedding.
Cari, who has three kids, told Tyla the daybed didn't cost her a penny and was created simply by using materials she already had around the house. "I made it at the start of lock down still going strong!" she says.

To make it, Cari simply took an old bag of duvets that were headed for the charity shop, and threaded them on to an old washing line. She then attached the washing line to the top of the trampoline's safety net with cable ties to create the curtained effect.
Inside, the mum-of-three used old throws and coordinating cushions and pillows to decorate.
Cari decided to keep the safety net in tact, as her children still use the trampoline-come-daybed.

Instead of using a safety net and curtain to create a draping effect, Viki Hutchinson made use of the stunning wisteria in her garden as cover instead.
Viki had her children paint their old trampoline with acrylic paint to give them something to do over lockdown, and put fence panels around it for some privacy.
"I love Morrocan and boho style cushions and throws so just look out for them on eBay and in charity shops. The large cushion is from Aldi," she says.
We're really into this idea, especially since we haven't used our trampoline since 2013.
