Last year, shoppers couldn't get enough of Zara's 'it' coat, a faux leather, shearling fleece-lined biker jacket that was all over our Instagram feeds. And now influencers have named this year's version as a green parka jacket from, wait for it, Amazon.
Shoppers over in the US are currently obsessing over the 'Upper East side mom coat' after it was worn en masse by women in uptown Manhattan.
But that obsession is now international, with shoppers all over the world picking up one of the coats for themselves, including here in the UK.
From under-the-radar brand Orolay, the Thickened Down Jacket is listed as one of the most-wished for items on Amazon, coming in a choice of different colours with a khaki green seemingly the one most added to baskets - other colours include beige, grey, black and navy.

With 4.2 stars out of five on Amazon, the coat has over 6,000 glowing reviews from happy customers. And, it even has its own Instagram account dedicated to those spotted in the chic outerwear on the street.
But why is the coat so popular, and how come shoppers are all so willing to wear something that everyone else is too?
Well, the panelled puffer comes with zips in all the right places, a cosy hood and plenty of pockets. It's also super snuggly as it has a white duck down filling to see you through the rest of winter.

Plus, it is also water-resistant and windproof, with its asymmetrical shape screaming designer vibes. Basically, the coat is as practical as it is stylish. Sizes run from XXS to XXL.
"We want something that's not necessarily couture," Good Housekeeping's fashion director LoriBergamotto told Yahoo Finance of the coat. "We want something that's practical and that will keep us warm, and that mostly is affordable."
Prices start at $130, which works out at around £100, and the parka jacket ships to the UK with postage costing $18.60 (£14). It also gives luxe outerwear brands like Moncler or Canada Goose a run for their money, with options from the designers over five times the price tag.
