You might be addicted to your skinny jeans, but 2011 called and it wants its unforgiving denim back. One style that is hitting all our trend buttons and seeing a massive resurgence with searches up a 3700 per cent is the Mom jean.
According to shopping platform, LikeToKnowIt.com, the high-waisted wonders are back and here to stay, and the good news is that they will work with virtually everything in your wardrobe (think a crisp, white t-shirt and trainers for day or sleek black ankle boots and a blazer if you're going 'out out').
Listen we get it: they're cool, comfy and a flattering, relaxed-fit style, which typically hits at or above the waist.

Topshop introduced its 'Mom Jeans' in 2013 - high-waisted, cropped, stiff and straight-legged.
Four years later, they're still a key denim silhouette for the clothes retailer.
If you're not in Topshop you might not find the word 'mom' on the label. It seems other retailers have dropped the 'mom' from the name and are instead calling them 'vintage', 'high' or 'mid-rise' straight-leg jeans. So keep an eye out.
