A new bold style of trousers (using the term loosely here) is currently baffling the internet with their unusual design.
These caged pants come courtesy of Fashion Nova, an online e-tailer known for its out-there looks like the bum cheek-baring trousers and garter jeans that puzzled shoppers last year.
And now the brand is starting 2019 strong with a pair of caged pants made up of just a few pieces of thin pleather sewn together to create a mesh effect.
Listed as 'Cage In The Beast' trousers on Fashion Nova's website, the product comes in a black, high rise style with a front button in an adjustable fit.

The caging is cut out over your peach leaving it completely bare, and there is one thing for certain, they definitely aren't made for this winter weather unless you layer them over another pair of trousers.
Fashion Nova's unique garment is priced at $49.99 (£38) and there is also a similar version with a different style of waistband known as the 'Can't Contain This Caged Pants'.
These equally as daring pants come with the same $49.99 (£38) price tag.
The brave look is bound to divide the internet as shoppers probably aren't quite sure what to make of the trousers. No word on whether Fashion Nova has managed to sell a pair yet, although the company has listed them as 'almost sold out' online.

This isn't the only time the company has raised eyebrows with its bold products, as a pair of lace up jeans also caused a stir on social media a couple of months ago.
Fashion Nova's Wild Thang Lace Up Pants were mainly made of white string with a small patch of blue denim to hold it all together.
Pushing the boundaries of a conventional pair of jeans, the trousers had a £36.40 price tag.
