Beyoncé Pulled Off The Slickest Outfit Change To Meet The Royals And You Didn’t Even Notice

We've spent all morning gawking over the pictures of Meghan Markle and Beyoncé's first ever meeting at last night's premiere of The Lion King at London's Leicester Square, where Bey totally slayed in a stunning yellow gown designed by Vietnamese designer Nguyem Cong Tri.

But do you want to play a little game of spot the difference?

Ok, so the picture on the left shows Beyoncé stepping onto the yellow carpet featuring a thigh split so magnificent it puts a young Liz Hurley to shame. The picture on the right shows the singer moments after she met the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (which we're still freaking out over FYI).

Do you see what we see?

In an extremely subtle blink-and-you'll-miss it outfit change, Beyoncé made a sneaky adjustment to her gown, closing the thigh split and hiding those spectacular pins from the world.

A move presumably done out of respect for the royal couple, we do hope she whipped them right back out though, as those pins are way too remarkable to be concealed.

Celebrity stylist Lucas Armitage told Pretty52: "I think Beyoncé has utilised a clever styling trick here to make her risqué dress royal family friendly... the dress may have had some concealed poppers so the slit could be discreetly repositioned into a more formal less revealing full skirt look.

"Beyoncé has shown how to be respectful of royal protocol whilst still allowing her more fierce side to fire through when the moment was right."

The to-die-for custom-made gown was a testament to Queen Bey's film character Nala with its solid yellow colour. She let her outfit do all the talking, accessorising with a delicate smattering of Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and Jimmy Choo heels.

Beyoncé was joined at the premiere by Jay-Z but it looks like the rest of the Knowles-Carter clan had to stay at home as the pair rocked up solo.

Blue Ivy Carter did however get to join her parents at the Los Angeles premiere of the much-hyped Disney movie where Blue and her mum wore matching black and silver outfits.

All that's left to do now is wait patiently until The Lion King to hit cinemas THIS FRIDAY. Cue 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight' on repeat until then.
