Millennials love their pets. According to reports, seven in 10 Millennials own a pet and are often dubbed 'pet parents' instead of pet owners for the lengths they will go to look after their pets.
This also means they like to splurge on them too, and there is no shortage of new gadgets and gizmos coming out to serve these parents and their pets.
The latest is a dog leash that also doubles as an umbrella - just for your dog. It works by having the umbrella attached to the leash, which the owner can then hover over their dog to keep them happy and dry and avoid that dreaded wet-dog smell.
It seems like it's going down a hit with dog-owners. One review said: "We bought this for a relatives dog. The dog hates going out in the rain and has accidents if she doesn't do her business. The dog loved the umbrella and went out in the rain with no problem. Great idea!!!!"

Another outlined that it made it easier for their dog to, ahem, get on with his business. "Thanks to this umbrella, he will finally do his business in the rain."
Priced at just $17.95 (£13.50) on Amazon, it is unfortunately for only small-breed dogs to make sure they get enough coverage.
It's probably important to make sure that your dog isn't scared of umbrella's opening or hovering above them before you rush to purchasing such a thing, and for bigger breeds it's best to stick to raincoats for the time being - such as K9 Apparel's breed-specific coats.
There has been a boom in pet products across the last few years. Owners can get everything from pet high chairs so your beloved can eat at the table with you to pup purses to make sure you're both sporting matching accessories.
