Una Healy reveals what it's like co-parenting with ex-husband Ben Foden

Una Healy has opened up about her relationship with ex-husband Ben Foden.

The former Saturdays singer and rugby union player tied the knot back in 2012, and were together for six years before they announced they were going their separate ways.

At the time, it was revealed that former England player Foden had been unfaithful, but he also told The Guardian that was not the only reason for their split.

Since then, the pair have been sharing parenting duties for their two children, Aoife and Tadgh.

And despite Foden, 38, now living in New York with his wife Jackie Belanoff, with whom he shares a daughter, Farrah, Healy says they make it work.

In an interview with Hello!, the 41-year-old said the pair 'manage it' as best as they can for their children.

"I'm really happy for them that they have summers in New York and that they’re making lovely memories with their dad, stepmother and sister," she told the outlet.

"Our dynamic is probably different to many people’s, but there are lots of people who have families where the parents aren't together any more. You just manage it as best you can."

Discussing her own relationship with her children, Healy said they're as close as ever.

“They’re like my little friends now,” she explained.

"I'm still their mother and I’ll always put them first, but we do things that friends would do, like going out for dinner or watching a film.

"That’s the relationship I have with them.”

This year, Healy had been seen with former boxer David Haye.

The popstar was long thought to be in a 'throuple' with Haye and model Sian Osborne, though she later denied those rumours.

Addressing the relationship setup for the first time, Healy spoke to Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally on the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast where Healy revealed she had been dating Haye only.

The mum-of-two declared: “Dating HIM is the right term because that’s how it was - it wasn’t a throuple. We had a lovely relationship.”

Healy said she was only dating David Haye.

Healy and Haye met on the celebrity dating app Raya, but the pair agreed to remain friends because she was concerned about his past relationships.

She decided against pursuing any serious romantic endeavours with David after he told her that he 'didn't believe the traditional relationship exists anymore’.

Still, the pair got along and began to see each other on casual dates whenever Una was in London.

“It was casual, it wasn't serious,' she explained. "I was happy enough with it. It was in a romantic capacity.

“He was very honest that I wasn't the only woman he was seeing, I was very aware he was seeing other people. I knew he was being honest and it's not like I was being cheated on."
