HBO has released the first trailer for Leaving Neverland, a new documentary featuring the testimonies of two men who were friends with Michael Jackson as young boys, set to air on Channel 4 next month.
Featuring footage taken filmed at the late singer's Neverland Ranch, the two-part documentary will explore allegations of sexual misconduct of minors against the singer, despite threats of legal action from the Jackson estate against the broadcasters.

"Leaving Neverland is a two-part documentary exploring the separate but parallel experiences of two young boys, James Safechuck, at age 10, and Wade Robson, at age seven, both of whom were befriended by Michael Jackson," reads the official synopsis for the show.
"Through gut-wrenching interviews with Safechuck, now 37, and Robson, now 41, as well as their mothers, wives and siblings, the film crafts a portrait of sustained abuse, exploring the complicated feelings that led both men to confront their experiences after both had a young son of his own."
News of the documentary was met by Jackson's estate branding it 'yet another lurid production in an outrageous and pathetic attempt to exploit and cash in on Michael Jackson'.

In a statement, the state said: "This so called 'documentary' is just another rehash of dated and discredited allegations," the estate said in a statement.
The popstar's nephew, Taj Jackson, is now raising money via a crowdfunding page to make another documentary in response to Leaving Neverland to defend his late uncle.
At the time of writing, almost $58,000 (£44,500) out of a $777,0000 (£596,000) goal has been donated towards the doc.
