Love Island's much-anticipated Casa Amor makes its comeback tonight as the 12 hot new arrivals finally come face-to-face with the existing housemates.

But in a twist on the usual format - where the male contestants typically head to the island's second residence - this time, it's the girls who get to spend some time away.

The action kicks off when Tommy Fury receives a text telling him the boys are off on a day trip. When they return, the existing female contestants have already secretly headed off to Casa Amor, leaving a bevvy of six new beauties in their place.

Meanwhile, Maura Higgins is thrilled about the prospect of meeting a new man ahead of the girls' move to Casa Amor after unoffically dumping Tom Walker, who was booted from the show last night.

"Last night I was convinced I was definitely going home and now today, I'm going to Casa Amor to meet a bunch of new hunky, fit lads," she comments in the Beach Hut. "Just get me out of here now because I'm ready for all the men."

But not everyone's as excited as newly-single Maura. "I'm scared in case I come back single and Michael [Griffiths] isn't," says Amber Gill. "I am so nervous about Jordan. Is he going to crack on with other girls? Should I be doing the same?" Anna Vakili agrees.

However her concerns are quickly forgotten when she sets eyes on the hot new stars. "When the boys came out, the first thing that I thought was 'woah.' Ovie [Soko] was so tall and handsome.

"Literally I was just staring at him. He is 28, 6ft 7 and he's just gorgeous. I'm really excited. Jordan [Hames] who?" the brunette babe later says of the professional basketball player. Ovie seems just as keen telling Anna: "You are definitely my type on paper."

Meanwhile, back at the villa, the boys get the shock of their life as they're greeted by new women Belle Hassan, Joanna Chimonides, Jourdan Riane, Lavena Back, Nabila Badda and Maria Wild.

In what's set to be a seriously action-packed episode, Lucie Donlan's also considering her friendship with Tommy. Before the shock villa move, the Cornish beauty can be seen telling pal Anton Danyluk she'd feel regret if she left the show without telling Tommy how she really feels about him.

ITV

"I think it's worth saying to him that you do feel a certain way. What's the worst than can happen?" Anton advises her.

With the 12 new contestants - including boys Dennon Lewis, Dan Rose, Marvin Brooks, Stevie Bradley and George Rains - already admitting they're not afraid to step on anyone's toes, it looks like we're in for some major drama.

Quick, cancel those Friday night plans!
