The wait is over. Love Island 2019 is finally coming and we've got your first official peek at the new contestants.
The new Love Island lineup includes a scientist, engineer, chef, dancer and a surfer who's had a brush with fellow reality star Joey Essex. It's something of a mixed bag this year with five girls and seven boys, suggesting that more girls could be thrown in the mix soon. We can't wait to see how they get on...
1. Yewande Biala, 23, from Ireland, is a scientist
Yewande's celebrity crush is Anthony Joshua. She is a scientist who describes herself as easy to get along with, as well as funny and caring. A strong believer in the 'girl code', she doesn't believe in stealing people's partners.
2. Lucie Donlan, 21 from Newquay is a surfer
The 21-year-old's claim to fame is that she spoke to Joey Essex on the 'gram... although they never went on a date. She says she would "marry" Instagram influencer, Joey Alvarez, in a flash. She's not a "girly-girl" and feels will feel at home more with the boys as she wants someone sporty.
3. Amber Gill, 21, from Newcastle is a beauty therapist
Amber's celebrity crush is Tom Hardy and, much like Yewande, she likes tall and athletic guys. When it comes to a partner, she doesn't want someone who takes themselves too seriously.
4. Amy Hart, 26 from Worthing, Sussex is an air hostess/cabin crew manager
Some of Amy's "weird" celebrity crushes include Simon Cowell and David Walliams. She's a woman who knows what she wants, it's all or nothing with her. If you're a time-waster you probably won't stand a chance.
5. Anna Vakili, 28 from London is a pharmacist
Anna, another Tom Hardy fan, once tripped and fell in front of former Islander Kem Cetinay and his "hot cousin" in Dubai. While she insists she'd speak to a girl before taking their partner, she is "there for love at the end of the day, not girls."
6. Anton Danyluk, 24 from Scotland owns a gym
Anton thinks going on the show is going to be the biggest test of his life because of his wandering eye which he cheekily refers to as a "medical condition." He likes a hardworking woman who's not going to be fazed whether he's driving a Corsa or a Porsche.
7. Tommy Fury, 20 from Manchester is a boxer
Meet Tyson Fury's younger brother, Tommy who's a boxer too. He doesn't want to just be known as Tyson's brother and wants to make a name for himself on his own right. He claims he's "a loyal guy down to the roots" and says he'd never cheat. He fancies Ariana Grande.
8. Joe Garratt, 22 from London is a catering company owner
Always making jokes and not taking himself too seriously, we can definitely see Joe getting along with Amber. He'd do whatever it takes for love because "All is fair in love and war."
9. Michael Griffiths, 22 from Liverpool is a firefighter
Say hello to Michael who has the same turn off as Anna: people who smell. Maybe that means they'll hit it off? The 22-year-old calls himself 'old-fashioned' and prefers to meet people face to face. He's also 'straight-talking', which he says is both a blessing and a curse.
10. Sherif Lanre, 20 from London is a chef and semi-pro rugby player
This cheeky chap doesn't really like girls who "love being in the spotlight because that's not really what I actually want for myself" - which is quite ironic given that he's about to go on a show that'll plant him firmly in the public eye.
11. Callum Macleod, 28 from South Wales is an aircraft engineer
This guy is looking for his very own fairytale ending and would rather meet the love of his life in person than over an app. Callum insists he is loyal to the core and doesn't understand why people cheat.
12. Curtis Pritchard, 23 from Shropshire is a ballroom and Latin dancer
Old-fashioned Chris is the younger brother of Strictly Come Dancing dancer, AJ Pritchard. Evidently dancing runs in the family. He promises to be loyal from "now on" so does that mean he'll be on his best behaviour in the villa?
