Football boss Harry Redknapp has been crowned king of the 2018 I'm A Celebrity jungle.

Harry pipped Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack and Doctor Who icon John Barrowman to win the 18th series of the beloved ITV reality show.

The 71-year-old became a firm favourite with the public from the get-go - despite never having seen the show before signing up to head down under.

Harry previously admitted he was completely clueless about the lack of food in the camp, and thought that producers would be handing out bacon rolls behind the scenes.

This year's series has seen Harry take on gruesome Bushtucker Trials and adapt to jungle life like a pro, although there were fears that the football manager might not make it to the end of the series.

Producers and campmates became worried that Harry was not eating enough, with co-star James McVey generously sharing half of his meals to ensure the veteran football coach stayed strong throughout.

Harry is now the oldest campmate in the show's UK history to be crowned king of the jungle.

Made In Chelsea's Georgia 'Toff' Toffolo was crowned queen of the jungle last year, Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt won the title in 2016 and Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison in 2015.

This series saw major changes with its presenters, as Holly Willoughby joined the line-up as host.

The This Morning presenter replaced Ant McPartlin to front the programme alongside Declan Donnelly.
