A brand new series, See is coming to Apple TV+'s this November and will be starring none other than Jason Momoa, the actor more commonly known for his leading performance as in Game of Thrones.

And much to our excitement, his new role will also see him channelling Khal Drogo's legendary rage and fury.

The show was created by Steven Knight, who produced the British crime drama television series Peaky Blinders and BBC Television Drama, Taboo.

It was directed by Francis Lawrence, who also directed The Hunger Games Catching Fire and Mockingjay parts 1 & 2.

The premise is centred around a dystopian future world in which a deadly virus has wiped out most of humankind. Those still alive have been stripped of their ability to see.

Momoa will play Baba Voss, the father of twins who are born with the ability to see and who, as a result become a target to some dangerous forces.

With a powerful, governing queen who demands they be killed, Momoa's character is forced to protect both his family and the rest of his tribe.

The actor, most famously recognised for his role as Khal Drogo in the widely acclaimed HBO production, Game of Thrones. His character was regarded as one of the strongest and most feared of all his tribe.

Fans will be pleased to hear that his new role doesn't venture too far from this.

In a series that combines fantasy with dramatic scenery and grand episodes of battle and confrontation, it looks as though Momoa's new character will be a gratifying replacement for those still mourning Drogo in Game of Thrones.

What's more, eager onlookers will no doubt be over the moon to see the return of his notorious beard; which he had previously shaved off as part of a campaign for an environmentally-friendly company producing recyclable cans.

'See' will be available on Apple TV in November
