If you're already mourning holiday season you can now ease yourself into the colder months with Eurostar's whopping sale that has just landed.

As part of their big end of season sale the train company is offering a whole load of cheap tickets from London to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam.

With tickets starting at £29 each way to Paris, Lille, Calais and Brussels, and £35 to Amsterdam or Rotterdam, a romantic weekend away with your best friends or other half is well within reach.

A return journey to Paris will cost you just £58 at the lowest price, quite the bargain.

And if you really want to channel your inner chic, then you can upgrade for just £7 one-way. This will add a meal, a few alcoholic refreshments as well as give you more space to relax into your weekend away.

For those keen to explore other corners of Europe, Eurostar has plenty to offer outside of the more popular tourist spots. Why not nab a ticket to Bruges, Antwerp or Ghent? With Eurostar's 'Any Belgian Station' ticket costing just £39 each way it's an affordable means of discovering a new city this autumn.

And again, if you fancy a bit more luxury on your journey, for another £40 you can upgrade to Standard Premier.

There are however some key elements to keep in mind. The sale will only be on until 23rd September, so if you're keen to get away from the London smog, then don't hang about securing yourself a ticket.

The tickets, however, will be valid between 1st October and 17th January, so there's plenty of time to choose from for your weekend getaway.

It's also worth keeping in mind that train tickets to Paris, Bruges and Brussels require a mandatory trip home I'm afraid, so don't get too cosy.
