Like job interviews and mortgage applications - first impressions count in dating. So if you're using a dating app, that all-important pic and bio has to be on point to catch a potential date's attention and sell yourself as much as possible in 500 characters.
But one Tinder user clearly didn't think his bio through before he hit the 'save' button to publish his profile - and it's landed him in some pretty hot (nay, boiling) water on social media.

Known simply as Kirk, the man has been slammed on Twitter for the "misogynistic" and racist comments on his problematic profile.
Zoe, who lives in Essex, came across Kirk's profile on the app when she was swiping left and right.
She was so shocked by what she saw on his profile that she decided to share it with the folks on social media - and it wasn't' because he hadn't skipped legs day (take note, guys).
Zoe posted an assortment of screengrabs to Twitter, commented: "I thought I'd give Tinder a go but honestly, it's fully put me off dating."

Kirk's profile features a photo of him standing in a bathroom half naked, with his trousers around his ankles looking like a proud toddler post-potty training.
The 27-year-old was supposed to be looking for love on the app but didn't share much information about himself in his bio, other than that he owns a two-bedroom flat, he's a body builder, he has a dog and he "doesn't take sh*t" (he's apparently just taken a sh*t, however.
What he did provide women with, were three rules for dating him (insert prayer hands emoji).
And the problematic rules have left social media rolling their eyes, clucking their tongues and retching because: f*cking patriarchy and: racism.

They said: "Rule 1, I don't want to be a step dad so no kids unless u have just one. I want my OWN thanks.
"Rule 2, if you date black boys or think about it don't even text me.
"Rule 3, I don't want a time waster or someone who is a bum... go make your own money u lazy f***s."

At the bottom of the profile he adds: "Good luck girls".
I need a minute... Twitter was rightly quick to call him out on his misogyny and out-and-out racist 'rules'.
One angry Twitter user said: "He is a narcissistic, racist, misogynistic, delusional muscle head."
A second person tweeted: "I'm going to screen shot this for when my relatives ask me why I'm still single."
A third put: "Wow. What a catch! Maybe drop the rules instead of the pants."

Good luck indeed ladies, good luck indeed. Perhaps only go for guys who appear toilet trained in future.
