How long into a new relationship does it take you to feel comfortable going to the toilet at your partner's place? One month? Six? Do you just pretend that you don't poop at all?
Well a new study shows you're not alone as apparently when it comes to loo politics, it's an absolute minefield.
Independent bathroom retailer Drench decided to dig a little deeper into the issue and they discovered that there's a huge gender disparity when it comes to bathroom habits, with one in three women not feeling comfortable with toilet issues until month seven of the relationship.

One in five said they would never feel comfortable about it. That's a lot of holding it in!
Within the first month of a new relationship, a whopping 85 per cent of women feel uncomfortable using the toilet compared to just 68 per cent of men proving that the gender confidence gap has most definitely made its way into the bathroom.
While we understand the fear, we're here to tell you that there's no need to feel embarrassed by your bodily functions because let's face it, there is no way your SO doesn't think that you go. So really what's the end game here?
And if you're with them every second over a weekend and they notice you never take enough time to do your business then they may start to wonder if there's enough fibre in your diet and even cook you up some Brussels sprouts for dinner. Let's face it, no-one wants that.
The good news is that one in two women confidently remove their make-up in front of their new partner within a month, and over a quarter of those women (29 per cent) did so within one week. We're proud of you girls.
So don't wait 'til you hit the half year mark, don't wait 'til your engaged and definitely don't wait until you feel comfortable asking them to blast out some Taylor Swift to cover any sounds that might be coming from the bathroom. We're all humans and we all need to go!
