Angel Exford shared a shocking story on Twitter earlier this month about the man she was dating who 'stole' over a thousand pounds from her to buy presents for his girlfriend.

In a series of tweets, which quickly went viral, Angel had claimed the man she was seeing had 'taken' £1,200 from her by using her bank details after he had used her card while they were on a double date.

And now the dental hygienist has appeared on This Morning to speak to Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes about how she got her own back after her date thought he had got away with the scam.

Angel had started to notice unusual activity in her personal bank accounts and, thanks to her and her friend's investigation skills, she managed to collect enough evidence to prove it was her date who was using her card.

She decided to report him to police and he was arrested at Gatwick airport just as he was about to board a flight to Paris with his girlfriend- a flight Angel had unknowingly paid for.

Angel added that he later confessed to everything in his interview and the case went to court, where he was handed a suspended sentence, a fine and community service.

She explained she was initially hesitant to expose her date but, after he began to boast about being Fraudbae online, she decided to go public.

Speaking on This Morning, Angel said: "When he was convicted me and my friends were like 'okay we won'.

"But then he started posting really nasty things online, especially around his court date.

"He said things like 'you think you caught me red-handed'.

"After his day in court he posted saying 'Enjoy the entertainment.'

"So I thought everyone else needs to know about this - and decided to make it into a funny story."

Since he was publicly outed on Angel's Twitter Michael has created a song about the situation. Angel added that she believes 'he has always wanted to be famous' and 'if that's what he wants to do that is fine with her'.

Speaking about the moment Fraudbae was arrested, Angel admitted that two of her friends went to the airport to watch it for her.

She said: "Two of my friends decided to go the airport, because I had to work and couldn't go.

"They were there taking pictures, saying 'It's going down! He didn't notice my friends and first but then he turned around and got nervous because he recognised them.

Angel says experience with has completely shattered her trust with men- as you would expect.

She told Phil and Rochelle that her 'trust is a bit broken' but she is 'staying positive'.
