A new trailer for the film Hustlers has just dropped and it's fair to say we are beyond excited.

Based on the true story of a group of strippers hustling wealthy men, the star-studded line-up includes J.Lo, Lizzo and Cardi B among a few more of our favourites:

The trailer depicts the women at the height of their game; J-Lo dancing on stage and smothered in dollar notes appears to be just taste of what is yet to come. With shots of lavish shopping sprees and sensual dancing - as part of a wider rags-to-riches type storyline - the film looks exciting, to say the least.

The script is based on a 2015 article written by Jessica Pressler for The Cut. The piece details the story of two women Roselyn Keo and Samantha Barbash, strippers who would lure past wealthy clients to their club and then spike their drinks in order to procure more money off them.

The film itself follows the journey of a group of strippers in New York City as they navigate the late 2000s financial crisis by hustling their way through the sex industry.

Led by an ambitious, single mother, Mama - played by Mercedes J. Ruehl - they lie and steal off dozens of wealthy men until it all goes horribly wrong.

Starring Constance Wu, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, and Lili Reinhart, the film looks set to be every bit as entertaining as it is bold and sassy.

In a recent interview with Deadline, writer and director, Lorene Scafaria said she was thrilled "to have the opportunity to work with this dynamic group of women."

"We're grateful to have assembled such a powerhouse cast and can't wait to start filming at the end of the week," she continued.

In a bid to get into character, some of the cast members even took up professional pole dancing lessons, with J.Lo attending with a Cirque Du Soleil staffer.

"I have bruises everywhere," she said. "It's so hard. I have a lot of respect for people who do the pole."

The movie is due to be released for its first world premiere on September 7th 2019 at the Toronto International Film Festival. It will then hit mainstream cinemas across the globe from September 13th.
