Superdrug is now offering all NHS staff 10 per cent off everything in store for the rest of the year - and the deal applies to all make-up and perfume, too.

To get the discount, you will need to have a Superdrug Health and Beauty loyalty points card and must show valid NHS staff ID at the checkout in-store.

The deal is only available in Superdrug shops, so you won't be able to get 10 per cent off deal when shopping online.

Superdrug's 10 per cent offer for those who work for the NHS is running right up until the 31st December, meaning you will be able to use it throughout the Christmas period to save a few pennies on presents.

The offer was introduced earlier this month on 19th June, and you must be a UK resident over the age of 12 to sign up for one of the drugstore's loyalty cards.

Similar schemes already exist in other high street stores to give NHS staff the reward they deserve.

Those who work for the national health service, including ambulance services, doctors and more, can get decent discounts while dining out, shopping on the high street and off their phone bills.

NHS staff can sign up for discount cards for participating retailers, such as Blue Light Card or Health Service Discounts.

Here's some of the best out there which should be on your radar:

Nando's - 20 per cent off orders up to £20 in restaurants. There's also a discount for other emergency services, like police and fire.

O2 - 15 to 25 per cent off bills

Vodafone - 15 per cent off monthly bills

Frankie and Benny's - 20 per cent off food bill in restaurants

Starbucks - 10 per cent off orders with a Blue Light card

A small way to give NHS staff the recognition they truly deserve.
