Power Rangers Actor Ricardo Medina Charged With Murder
Former Power Rangers actor, Ricardo Medina, has been charged with murder after stabbing his housemate with a sword.
The 38-year-old was arrested last year after he fatally injured Joshua Sutter, claiming that it was in self-defence. The pair had been in a heated altercation before the incident occurred, with Medina then making his way into his own room and closing the door.
It was then alleged that Stutter forced his way into Medina's room, where he was stabbed in the stomach. The 36-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The former Red Ranger in the 2002 Power Rangers Wild Force film was initially released without charge due to a lack of evidence, but the police have clearly found what was needed to bring charges against the Californian.
His attorney, Allen Bell, has released a statement saying:
As far as I know, nothing has changed since a year ago when Rickey was first arrested. From the evidence I am aware of, he is as innocent now as he was then. I have not received any additional information and presumably will know more Tuesday at his arraignment.
