Stumped about what to buy for Christmas? If you know any Pokémon super-fans, this incredibly rare Pokémon card is on offer - and it is set to sell for a record-breaking half a million dollars!
The '1999 Pokémon Base 1st Edition #4 Charizard trading card' is currently on track to sell for a huge $500,000 (£375,876.26) sum.
If it earns the predicted price, it will become the most expensive Pokémon card ever sold - more than double the current record holder.

The card is holographic and features Charizard, a fictional flying lizard. It will be sold as a part of Goldin Auctions' Holiday Auction.
Perhaps it could be a very expensive Christmas gift for a very special person. If you're thinking of catching this rare card you will have to be quick - biding began on 23 November 2020 and will remain open to the public through 12 December 2020.
While the bidding started at $50,000 (£37,587.63), the Pokémon card's highest bid is already at $196,800 (£147,862.64), with still over a week until the auction closes.

Auction Director Dave Amerman said: "We are already only about $30,000 (£22,552.58) shy of the all-time Pokémon record, which is $250,000 (£187,938.13) and there's still plenty of days left of auction.
"We believe this card has the ability to reach a $500,000 (£375,876.26) sale."
According to the auctioneers, the card has been deemed to be "one-of-a-kind, pristine condition" after independent evaluation.

The first Pokémon game was released in Japan in 1996 and it quickly gained a huge international following under Nintendo.

The popular franchise has recently made waves among Gen Z, after YouTube personality Logan Paul paid $150,000 (£112,762.88) for another Charizard card.
