Boy Airlifted To Hospital After 'Serious' Incident At Lightwater Valley Theme Park

A boy has been airlifted to hospital after reports of a "serious" incident at Lightwater Valley theme park near Ripon, North Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance confirmed it has flown a child from the park to Leeds General Infirmary. The boy's condition is not yet known.

Several eyewitnesses report that the boy 'fell from the twister roller coaster', although this has not been confirmed.

North Yorkshire Police said it was called to reports of a "medical incident" at 11.30am at the theme park.

According to a police spokesperson, officers remain at the scene.
