Cult Beauty Brand The Ordinary Is Coming To Boots

Cult Beauty Brand The Ordinary Is Coming To Boots

Famous for its effective formulas, minimalist no-fuss packages and super-affordable prices, The Ordinary changed the beauty world when it arrived on the scene in 2016.

From its dermatologist-approved Granactive Retinoid to its always-sold-out Peeling Solution, it's easy to see why countless celebs - including Kim Kardashian West - are constantly singing its praises.

Until now fans could only buy The Ordinary online and in a limited number of Deciem shops in the UK, namely in London, which often meant an agonising wait while your favourite products were shipped - but all that is about to change.

Do you want to know why? Well let us tell you.

Boots will be stocking the cult brand from the end of the month so soon you'll be able to simply pop round the corner anytime you need a top up.

"The Ordinary brings brilliant, high-performance and efficacious products to Boots," says Joanna Rogers, Commercial Director and Beauty VP of the high-street store. "With highly effective ingredients, the brand will make it easier for our customers to curate a skincare wardrobe at great affordable prices."

One of the biggest breakout skincare brands of the last few years, The Ordinary's ability to totally streamline the list of ingredients we put on our skin is genius. So while we wait patiently for the brand to drop in selected Boots stores on 31st July, here are a few of its best-selling products and how to use them:

The perfect combat for those dreaded dark under-eye circles, applying this highly-caffeine-concentrated serum morning and evening can drastically reduce them while fighting against puffiness.

"Before buying a product, I made sure to read the reviews for references, that's why I'm writing this; to help others. This product works! My under eye wrinkles are almost gone after 4 days of usage," said one reviewer on Cult Beauty.

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution

A chemical exfoliator designed to target dullness, hyperpigmentation, textural irregularities and blemishes, this is a great option for an at-home peel. It's not ideal for sensitive skin though, so don't use this if you're prone to redness or breakouts.

"Baby smooth skin! This product is really incredible and can we talk about the price? It is really cheap and precious for my skin," said another Cult Beauty reviewer.

Perhaps the brand's most renowned product, this miracle formula should be used both morning and evening before any of your heavier creams to hydrate even the driest of skins.

"Love this product. I have very dry sensitive skin which was transformed within a couple of uses. My moisturiser goes a lot further and my wrinkles are barely noticeable," said one fan on Amazon.

The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution

A favourite among anyone with blemish-prone skin, the Salicylic Acid Solution is renowned for its ability to chemically exfoliate the skin and get rid of any grime that causes spots and acne. Another product not great for those with sensitive skin, simply apply to blemishes using a cotton bud.

"Amazing product! Been using for about a week now and loving how soft and balanced my skin is!" said another happy Amazon shopper.
