Mothers have hit out at Morrisons for selling a denim miniskirt for babies, labelling the design "disgusting."
Michelle Potts shared a photo of skirts she'd spotted on sale in the supermarket's Denton branch in Manchester.
She wrote on Facebook: "Can't believe I saw these in Morrisons... who on earth would put a newborn baby in a denim mini skirt," alongside a series of shocked face emojis.

The design, which comes in a blue butterfly-adorned version as well as a pale pink, is part of the chain's Nutmeg children's clothing range and starts at 'newborn' size.
Other horrified mums have shared the same sentiment. "A cutoff miniskirt for #newborns?! Seriously, @Morrisons what are you thinking?" Twitter user @Rutlandclimber posted previously.
"I just think they're a bit too much for newborn babies, maybe a little girl whose walking with a pair of tights on, but babies aren't babies for long," commented mum-of-two Natalie Smith from Denton.
"I love Morrisons clothes in general and have some beautiful clothes, I'm guessing it's not just Morrisons that are selling them, each to their own but personally I just prefer my baby to look a baby [sic]," Natalie continued.

"I feel a newborn baby should wear comfortable clothing and things less restricting especially on little tummies. A baby isn't a doll to dress up like a teenager," Michelle added to the Manchester Evening News.
Melissa Orme from nearby Stalybridge also agreed saying she was "disgusted" with the item.
"I wouldn't put any child in them, they are far too short even with tights. I can't believe they are being sold."
The design is advertised as being 'denim look soft feel' and a spokesperson for the supermarket told Manchester Evening News: "Our skirts can be paired with a number of other items we sell including tights and leggings."
