B&M Is Selling £4.99 Watermelon Dog Cooling Mats So You Can Sunbathe Together This Summer
While we love nothing more than basking in the glorious sunshine, it hurts our hearts to think of how much our four-legged-friends are struggling under their heavy layers of fur. Luckily B&M is now selling circular pet-cooling mats for just £4.99 so you can rest assured your pooch will keep cool throughout the summer.
Measuring roughly 60cm by 60cm, the mats are activated as soon as your pet sits on them, kick starting an immediate cooling effect while helping with allergies, heat stroke, skin conditions and post-surgery.
If your dog is a bit more of a wall flower, you can also pick up a selection of 'air flow' mats in red, blue and grey for £9.99 which are made from durable mesh and nylon to let air circulate below the body. For those looking to splash out, there are also cooling mats available in flamingo and watermelon prints for £12.99 that come infused with citronella essential oils to repel insects and aid relaxation.
B&M shared a super cute pic of a cockapoo on one of its mats earlier this week which has sent dog owners desperate to get their hands on one into a frenzy.

We'll be taking one in every colour.
Keeping dogs cool in the heat is vital for their wellbeing, and the Blue Cross has heaps of helpful advice on how to achieve this including making sure they have access to plenty of clean water at all times, picking cooler times of the day to walk them and never, ever leaving your dog alone in a hot car.
