Last week, Jada Pinkett Smith opened up about the relationship she had with August Alsina, while she was separated from husband, Will Smith.

Jada, 48 and Will, 51 sat down at a Red Table Talk, where they spoke candidly about what happened, and shut down rumours that Will had "given permission" for Jada to have a relationship with August.

One person who was pretty stunned by the conversation was rapper, 50 Cent, who decided to weigh in on the drama, even taking it upon himself to message Will and then share the screengrabs of their conversation after Will shut him down.

In the messages, 50 can be seen asking Will if he was okay following the Red Table Talk. At first, Will is pretty appreciative of his concern.

Clearly still fishing for the goss', 50 Cent then responds by asking Will why Jada had revealed her relationship with 27-year-old August "for everybody to see" to which Will responded: "We broke up so she did her and I did me."

But when 50 messages again, speaking about Jada's sex life, it's clear a line had been crossed. "Then she said only SHE can give permission for somebody to blow her back out," he said.

Will then blows up at the rapper and completely shuts down the conversation, responding with "F**k you 50".

Ouch.

50 Cent has since posted the grabs on his Instagram, captioning the snap: "Damn it's like that, what i do?"

Setting the record straight, Will and Jada came together for a special edition of her Red Table Talks last week. Kicking off the conversation, Jada explained around four and a half years ago she started a friendship with August after he simply needed some help.

"From there, you and I were going through a difficult time," she said.

"I was done with you," added Will.

"We decided that we were going to separate for a period of time, and you go figure out how to make yourself happy, and I'll figure out how to make myself happy."

Jada added that at that particular time, it felt as though their marriage was over for good.

"From there, as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August," she said.

"One of the things I want to clear up that was swirling in the press was you giving permission, the only person who could give permission in that kind of circumstance was myself.

"What August was probably trying to communicate, because I could actually see how he would perceive it as permission, because we were separated amicably - and I think he also wanted to make it clear he's not a home wrecker, which he's not."

Will asked Jada to clarify what she meant by 'entanglement' (

Will then asked Jada to make it clear what had happened. "An entanglement?" He asked. "A relationship?"

"Yes it was a relationship, absolutely," said Jada.

"I was in a lot of pain, I was very broken and in the process of that relationship I definitely realised you can't find happiness outside of yourself.

"[...] I just wanted to feel good. It had been so long since I had felt good."

The couple sat down for the chat after August revealed in an interview that he had dated Jada with the "blessing" of Will, which led to speculation the couple were in an open marriage.

The couple wrapped the Red Table Talk up by explaining they love each other "unconditionally", fist bumping and joking: "We ride together, we die together. Bad marriage for life".
