Stephen Bear Defends Himself Against Allegations He 'Killed His Puppy'
Stephen Bear has hit out at anyone accusing him of causing the death of his Rottweiler puppy, Wolverine...
Posting an angry rant on his Instagram page, the Ex On The Beach contestant gave his side of the story to fans while speaking directly to the camera.
Charlotte Crosby's ex-boyfriend captioned these clips: "Everyone needs to stop this negative talk , it's not a healthy way to live.
"I need to say what happened because what I'm reading is horrific and I notice that people love to put others down and fail.
"Before you spread negative energy just look around and look at your current situation winners focus on winning and building people up."
He continued: "I lost my dog show some respect, just because I laugh all the time doesn't mean I didn't care. No one sees the endless tears it put me and my family through. All the see is the smiles and the happy times because I'm that person.
"I never write a lot on social media but a lot of people need to stop putting others down.
"Just so you no it will never affect me your comments because I laugh but anyone else you could really lower their confidence and make them self harm.
"I'm just very lucky to have the best family I could ask for and some amazing friends and an amazing girlfriend who is just [fire emoji]."
This comes after one of his follower's comments went viral, after the puppy was found dead in its blanket earlier this month.
The young rottweiler had to have emergency surgery on his leg in the days before his death, after contracting a serious infection.
Days later, Bear confirmed Wolverine's death in an Instagram post, which read: "In life nothing really upsets me. But to find my wolverine this morning dead in his blanket has left me broken.
"I will be off social media for a few days. R.I.P my boy. I love you."
However, one person slammed Bear, accusing him of 'causing the puppy's death'. They vented: "I don't know why Stephen Bear is getting so much sympathy over the loss of his puppy. You were taking him outside before he had his full injections.
"No surprise he caught an infection resulting in needing his leg amputated at a few weeks old."
The user raged: "The day you picked him up after the op you have him running around playing fetch when he should of been on cage rest. And you're surprised that you woke up to find him dead in his blanket?
"You are a f*cking disgrace and I hope you are never, ever, EVER allowed another animal in your company. You did not deserve a dog, you were using him as a prop for Instagram from the moment you got him."
They added: "And you think having his name tattooed on your neck makes you owner of the year?
"And you're clearly not upset going out drinking and being happy all over social media. You are vile."
