Almost 3 million followers have clicked 'unfollow' on beauty guru James Charles' social media accounts as his row with fellow Youtuber Tati Westbrook escalates.

The 19-year-old YouTuber is reported to have "gone off the radar" since Tati, 37, posted a 45 minute-long video hitting out at the teen star.

He hasn't been spotted publicly since leaving a fan event at Gold Coast's Pacific Fair Shopping Centre in Australia on Saturday.

ICYMI, Tati made several accusations against James in her video 'BYE SISTER', in which she alleges that he tried to "trick a straight man into thinking that he's gay".

Tati also accused her ex-bestie of 'endorsing a supplement which rivals her own', saying his actions made her "literally want to vomit".

"When you paired up with my number one competitor it was embarrassing for me and you know that," she said. "You kept saying you can't be bought, but you just were."

James also recently found himself in hot water over the price of his tickets for a meet-and-greet with his fans (some were priced at £385), as well as by saying his invitation to the Met Gala 2019 was "a step forward in the right direction for influencer representation in the media and I am so excited to be a catalyst".

Kim Kardashian-West, Kylie Jenner, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Katy Perry, Iggy Azalea and many more celebs are all said to have unfollowed the influencer on Instagram since the row.

According to website Social Blade, James has lost almost three million subscribers and Tati has gained two million, making a total of nine million. James had over 16 million followers, and he now has 13.8 million.

"It's like he has just disappeared and gone into hiding. There's a huge price on his head for any photos right now," a source told Daily Mail Australia on Monday.

Since posting a tearful video in reply to Tati's accusations in which he apologised, James hasn't updated any of his social media channels either.

In the eight minute-long clip, he said: "I owe everybody an explanation and I owe two people an apology.

"I'm sorry for everything that is going on everything and I've put you through over the past three weeks."

Addressing Tati's claims, James continued: "Boys have been a topic that I've spoken a lot about on my social media journey. And it's a topic that I wish I hadn't. I've been in a lot of very unique, strange situations that have left people confused or upset.

"And I've learned the hard way about ways that I can interact with people that I'm interested in, and also ones that I should or shouldn't be taking to.

"This is a conversation that I know a lot of people are uncomfortable with, and it's something that I should have been far more careful with, bringing into the public eye."
