Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga had so much chemistry during their Oscars performance of 'Shallow' that Twitter was rooting for them to kiss - which is awkward considering Bradley's girlfriend of four years, Irina Shayk, had a front-row seat.

But while Gaga is newly single, their relationship remains platonic - and Irina's emotional reaction to their moving performance was anything but jealous.

A guest captured the performance from the back of the auditorium and also captured the fact that Bradley's proud and supportive girlfriend Irina was the first on her feet for the pair's standing ovation.

And yes, during her acceptance speech for her Best Original Song Oscar, Lady Gaga did mention how close she and Bradley are - but Irina's actions shows there's no tension between them.

When Lady Gaga climbed down from the stage she and Irina were pictured hugging in what appeared to be a genuine and emotionally-charged embrace.

Bradley also planted a smacker right on lucky Irina's lips in front of Gaga.

Here's the performance that got so many tongues wagging:

In Gaga's speech, the singer spoke emotionally about why Bradley was the only person who could've made the song work the way it did with her.

She enthused: "Bradley, there is not a single person on the planet that could've sang this song with me but you. Thank you for believing in us. Thank you so much."

The pair had given an electric performance as they stared into each other's eyes, prompting some viewers to tell them to 'get a room.'

It was Gaga's first public appearance since it was revealed she'd ended her engagement with Christian Carino.

Despite Cooper and Shayk looking adorably loved up on the red carpet, Twitter users couldn't stop commenting on the chemistry between Cooper and Gaga, with many speculating that they're "secretly in love."

The song beat out 'All The Stars' from Black Panther, 'I'll Fight' from RGB, 'The Place Where Lost Things Go' from Mary Poppins Returns, and 'When a Cowboy Trades his Spurs for Wings' from The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, and after the performance it's not hard to see why.
