Cheryl Tweedy Denies Romance With 'Mystery Man'

Cheryl Tweedy and Liam Payne only just announced that they were going their separate ways, and rumours are now swirling around, suggesting that the mama-of-one has 'moved on' with a 'mystery man'...

But the former Girls Aloud star has now broken her silence on these suggestions, furiously denying that she's sparked up any kind of romance at all.

Her rep has shut down any claims that Chezza's got a new fella, telling the Mirror: "There is no truth to these ridiculous claims."

An insider had originally told Now Magazine: "Cheryl has been enjoying dates with someone she calls 'her crutch'.

"It's someone in the showbiz industry and although it's very early days, they've been enjoying coffee 'dates' at her home and exchanging endless WhatsApps."

They added: "She has a small circle of trusted friends and even most of them don't know the identity of Cheryl's mystery man-friend.

"All she'll say is he's a real charmer and acts like a gentleman around her."

A spokesman for the star has since denied the insider's claims.

It's been almost a month since Cheryl and Liam revealed that they'd broken up, both sharing emotional messages on Twitter to announce the sad split at the time. The pair share a one-year-old son together, Bear, and were together for two and a half years.

Former Girls Aloud pop star Cheryl wrote: "We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make.

"We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together."

Twenty-four-year-old Liam similarly posted: "Cheryl and I are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways. It's been a tough decision for us to make.

"We still have so much love for each other as a family. Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together."
