The trend for men dyeing their hair bleach blonde doesn't look like it's going away anytime soon. Earlier this week we saw Zac Efron reveal his bleach blonde look and now Magic Mike star Channing Tatum is the latest to debut a new platinum look.
On Tuesday, Tatum shared a selfie on his Instagram story and his hair, usually brown, had been dyed bleach blonde. He asked his followers what they thought of the look with a poll and was confronted with mixed feelings. According People, as of Tuesday afternoon, 59% of Tatum's followers voted "Yes," and 41% voted "No," when asked if the change of hair colour was a bad idea.
He then proceeded to video himself dancing around his house whilst rapping: "I'm the real Tatum, yes I'm the real Tatum, all you other Channing Tatums are imi-tatums, so won't the real Channing Tatum please stand up, please stand up, please stand up?".

In a later story, after receiving the results of his poll, he exclaimed: "Well, bad ideas are sort of my thing. So...", adding the shrugging-person emoji.
This is not the first time Tatum has tried out the look. Back in 2015 he also sported blonde hair whilst on vacation in Peru with his then wife Jenna Dewan who he shares a 5-year-old daughter Everly with. They later divorced in 2018, and as of October has been dating singer Jessie J. He was photographed with her for the first time last week walking hand-in-hand in London. He shared his first Instagram post about her back in November.
Tatum also went bleach blonde again back in 2013 for his role as Caine Wise in Jupiter Ascending, a film that was rated just 26% on Rotten Tomatoes. Let's just hope he can ascend above his critics to embrace his new look.
