An Aussie family has been torn apart after a third child tragically died after trying to protect his siblings from a fire.
Last Sunday morning (22 October), the four young children were playing together when a shed fire broke out in Victoria, Australia.
Three-year-old Saige and Ashlynn, who was just 18 months, devastatingly died at the scene while four-year-old Isaac and Mavis, six, were both left in a critical condition and taken to hospital.

Since then, Victoria Police have now confirmed today (25 October) that little Isaac had died from the injuries he sustained.
Grieving father, Kane McGregor, revealed yesterday (24 October) that Isaac suffered third-degree burns to 82 percent of his body and was showing signs of kidney and liver failure.
McGregor also said that Isaac huddled over his younger siblings, remembered as 'beautiful angels', when the sofa inside the shed caught fire in an attempt to protect them from the flames.

He explained: "(Jasmine, their mother) said once she finally got the couch moved and grabbed Mavis first, Isaac had the other two huddled under him so they didn’t burn.
"What four-year-old huddles over their two little siblings?
"I couldn’t be any prouder of him."
The eldest of the four siblings, Mavis, currently remains in critical condition.
McGregor revealed she has sustained third-degree burns on 30 percent of her body and is due to undergo surgery on Friday (27 October).

He said: "All seems well with Mavis at the moment.
"She’s a lot less burnt, so hopefully she’s on the mend soon."
A GoFundMe page has since been set up by Daina Leech on behalf of Tabatha McGregor and has raised $64,802 AUD out of the $50,000 goal.
The fundraiser's page reads: "This family will never be the same without these children in their lives.

"I’m hoping to help this family ease the financial cost of laying those beautiful babies to rest as this is such an unimaginable situation for any parent to go through.
"Any donations would be deeply appreciated."
An update to the GoFundMe added: "Issac sadly grew his wings and reunited with his baby brother and sister.

"He will always be remembered as the heroic young boy who gave his life trying to protect his siblings.
"We thank everyone so much from the bottom of our hearts for all the donations and support. This community is absolutely incredible."
Opening up about that tragic day, McGregor said he left home around an hour before the fire took place to drive to Melbourne.
He recalled: "I got them up, dressed, showered and fed them as I was leaving, Isaac ran up to give me a cuddle and a kiss."
The four children were playing inside the property, he said, and 'must of snuck out the back' to play in the shed.
A sofa inside of the shed, which was used as a dog bed, then somehow caught fire.
It is not immediately clear how the fire initially started, with a report now set to be prepared for the Coroner.
