Everyone who's ever seen Fight Club knows that the first rule is 'you do not talk about Fight Club', but it turns out that if you do, incredible things can happen. Well, that's what Allison Garrett found when "the opportunity arose, and [she] took her chances" to write a movie review on the iconic 1999 film.
The college student chose to write about the film, starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, who start their own masochistic underground club.
Allison's assignment was to write a review on a movie she had seen, and no one can say she wasn't ballsy with what she decided to do with it.

Sharing a photo of her word document, Allison had written "Fight Club" as the title at the top of the page. Underneath, she simply wrote "The first rule of fight club is: you do not talk about fight club."
At the bottom of the page, she added: "That's it. That's the essay." Wow.
However, Allison didn't stop there, writing in the comments section: "I cannot say that I am sorry because that would be a lie. Am I Proud? Yes." Fair play, Allison.
Now, it's fair to say she had taken a bit of a risk that could've gone one of two ways. I mean, most of Allison's peers probably spent hours labouring over hundreds of well thought out words as they describe their chosen films, but would any of them capture the essence of their film so well? Probably not.

Lucky for Allison, her professor was able to appreciate this face, granting her a very generous 100 per cent grade.
"I struggled over this grade for a long time," the professor wrote in the comments section of the submission page. "I finally decided you get a grade for a laugh and how relevant your review is for this particular movie."
However, it came with a stark warning for Allison. "Let me warn you: do NOT try this kind of thing with other professors; they may not have my sense of humor."

A brave move that payed off - that's the kind of ballsiness required to join Fight Club.
