Woman creeped out after finding secret room covered in children’s handprints in her home

A woman made a horrifying discovery of a secret room full of children's handprints in her home.

For many of us, finding some extra space in our homes is the stuff of dreams.

Who wouldn't enjoy a little extra space for relaxing, hosting, or even just storage?

Well, for one TikToker, this dream situation actually ended up being the stuff of nightmares.

TikTok user @bigbrah1 revealed the rather more creepy side of finding a secret room in your home.

In the viral video, the OP approached a tiny cupboard in her bathroom, which she opens.

Inside, there's another tiny door, which she also pushes to the side.

And within that second door is a truly bizarre secret space.

“Found a room hidden in my house,” she wrote in the video.

In the secret room she found decorations of children’s drawings, foot and handprint murals, and the words 'Love Shack' in colourful lettering on the wall.

She also found piece of paper scrawled with the names 'Rebecca, Kelly and Sarah.'

Even more terrifyingly, the TikTok user discovered that the room can be locked from the outside.

Clearly freaked out by her discovery, she captioned the video, "what do I do?"

Many cautious followers then indicated she might want to call the police.

One advised: “Tell the police like just in case it’s linked to something …”

“Absolute weirdest vibes … love shack? The feet?” another commenter wrote.

“It was either a fun little hideout, or the creepiest thing ever,” a third chimed in, with a fourth agreeing: "Love shack makes me feel uncomfortable, what happened in there?"

There were some terrifying handprints on the wall.

In spite of the horror movie optics, some people thought that there was an innocent explanation for the space.

“Y’all this is so obviously just a girly lil hangout area,” one theorised.

“Me and my bsf have the ‘babe cave’ at my family’s cabin.

"This seems like the same vibe.”

Another wrote: “That’s like 90s middle school girl hang out fo sho.”

While a third joked: “The tween girls who used that space as a hang out for sleepovers and doodling probably had no idea a bunch of adults on TikTok would be debating the size of their hands and feet, why one of them liked the song Love Shack by the B52s, or why the paint doesn’t go all the way down the wall.”

Do you think there's an innocent explanation? Or are you as scared as we are?

Let's just hope she posts an update when she finds out...
